"Darla"
Darla is co-owned by Teddie Wilson, my
step-daughter.
Darla earned both majors, from the 9-12 month class, Best of Opposite over Specials bitches, finished her Championship by winning Best of Breed and shown
all the way by Teddie at 17 months old!
Darla has a gorgeous head, plenty of harsh coat, level top-line and dark pigment.
Darla is also shown in Junior handling by Teddie.
She was bred to "Teddy" Ch. Rose Croft Best Foot Forward in the Spring of 1999. On July 7th she had a litter of 5, 2 males and 3 females.
One of the males Rose Croft Right on Target, co-owned with Joe Vernuccio, has won 3 Regional Sweepstake and BOS at another. He has Best of Breed wins over top ranked Specials, has won a 5 point Major at the Cairn Terrier Club of Denver Specialty under breeder/judge Peggy Biesel McIllwaine and a 4 point Major the Potomac Specialty weekend under breeder/judge Karen Wilson. As of this writing he needs 2 points to finish his American title.
Joe took him to Canada for one weekend of shows, the BC Terrier Show and the BC Regional Specialty of the Cairn Terrier Club of Canada and an All Breed Show. Petie was Winners Dog and Best of Winners at all three shows, and is now a Canadian Champion.
A female, Rose Croft Give it a Shot is pointed from the Bred By Exhibitors class with her co-breeder Teddie showing her.
They others are waiting to grow up some more but we will fill you in as soon as the news comes in.
