"Phoebe"
Phoebe finished her championship the weekend of the Detroit Specialty, 1993. She was breeder/owner handled except the one weekend at Detroit. Phoebe has been said to have the face of Roseanne Barr and the body of Bo Dereck.
She is the stay at home litter sister of the #1 Bitch for 1997, #2 Bitch for 1995 & 96, who was also the Best of Breed winner at the Westminster Kennel Club Show in 1996; Ch. Scarlet Tananger. Scarlet spent so much time being shown that she only produced two litter and one champion from each litter. In 1996 she was bred to Christycain Wrangler and produced Ch. Robinsong's Tara. In 1997 bred to Ch. Brigadoon's Grand Son of a Gun, produced Ch. Robinsong's Candy Corn.
Her litter brother Ch.
Sandpiper, has sired some very nice puppies, including the Montgomery Co.
CTCA Specialty Best of Breed winner, Ch. Tweedsmuir Ohioville Hudson, out of
one of my all time favorite bitches, Ch. Tweedsmuir Piper's
Tattoo.
Phoebe has proven herself as the dam of with several champion off-spring. Her litters sired by Ch. Rose Croft's Best Invention,
Ch. Rose Croft Born to Party ,
Ch. Ramblebriar's Will Scarlet and Mistywins
Happicairn Piper Chase has produced Best in Sweepstakes, Group
placing off-spring, including CC winners in Europe.
