"Ben"
Ben finished his championship with a 5 point major, earning a CTCA Goblet by winning Winners Dog and Best of Winners at the Cairn Terrier Club of Southern California Specialty June 21, 1996 at 15 months old, following two 5 point Specialty Reserves. 

Ben did not have much of a show career, since his half brother BIS, BISS Int'l Ch. Rose Croft Born to Party, CGC, TT was campaigned while Ben finished.

His Pedigree

He has proven himself as a sire of quality by producing eight champions so far; Ch. Rose Croft Best Foot Forward, the Top Winning Cairn in the history of the breed and Ch. Rose Croft Hi-Heeled Sneakers, his litter sister out of Rose Croft Party Shoes.  His sons out of Ch. Rose Croft It's the Jitterbug finished with ALL majors Ch. Rose Croft Since Sliced Bread ; a Best Puppy in Sweepstakes at the Cairn Terrier Club of Denver, at 6 months and 1 day old and finished with 3 majors Ch. Rose Croft A Better Mouse Trap and  Rose Croft Perpetual Motion who was accidentally neutered before he received his last championship point.

Then bred to Rose Croft Moonshine he produced the Group winning bitch, Rose Croft Bottle Rocket.  She only needs majors to finish but she is in Alaska and those majors are hard to come by, plus she has almost a Canadian champion.

His next litter out of GB's Party Girl Lindsey produced Can. Ch. Rose Croft Chriscairn Gadget owned by Chris and Garry Peters, Chriscairn and her sister Rose Croft Widget is major pointed.

Bred to Can. Ch. Alamawa's Killybracken, owned by Jane Nagel of Greatscot Cairns,  produced three sons, Can. Ch. Greatscot's Whipstocker, Can. Ch. Greatscot's Mr. Big Shot, and (almost champion) Greatscot's Patent Pending.   

In 1999 we repeated the breeding that produced Teddy, two of the males are currently being shown, Toby - Rose Croft Best Laid Plans is on the east coast and co-owned by Beth Hendricks and Nike - Rose Croft Best Intentions in the mid-west co-owned and shown by Karen and David Eisenburg.   Both boys are multiple Best of Breed and Group placers from the classes and are in the top of the Breed in ratings.   Who says a repeat breeding doesn't work?

Ben is GCL tested clear as was his mother, vWD normal, Eye examined normal, hips, knees and head are x-rayed clear.
